Buffalo, NY (December 28, 2009)- Celerity LLC, the nation's fastest growing software provider for chemical dependency and mental health treatment providers, welcomes their newest partner in New York State, Albany's Equinox, Inc. They will be joining the Capital Regions Addictions Care Center of Albany and Pearl Counseling along with Northpointe Council, Livingston County, Syracuse Behavioral Healthcare, William George Agency, Binghamton Memorial Hospital, Recovery Center (Sullivan County), Samaritan Village, Reality House, Silver Lakes, YMCA of Long Island and Employee Assistance Resources in using Celerity’s flagship software, Clinical Addictions Manager (CAM), as their electronic medical record to assist them in saving more lives by significantly reducing the amount of time spent on paperwork.
CAM was developed specifically for the needs of alcohol, drug and mental health treatment providers. Celerity's CAM enables providers to maintain all records electronically in a low-cost and highly effective manner, from the first point of contact through discharge and billing. The user friendly interface makes Celerity an attractive choice for providers.
From a single volunteer driven program of drug intervention and referral, Equinox has grown into a multi-service agency assisting clients with issues relating to the homelessness of teens and young adults, domestic violence, and substance abuse. As the agency has grown and matured, so have the services offered in their Substance Abuse Counseling Center. The goal of substance abuse counseling is to help abusers achieve sobriety and recover their lives through innovative, cutting edge techniques that help clients regain the self that was abandoned long before an addiction started. Their professional, affordable, confidential services give clients the courage to change and the opportunity to manage their lives with dignity.
Peter Labaki, President and CEO of Celerity LLC said, "Our goal has been and always will be helping treatment provides with their mission of saving lives. To be a part of that process and work with the very fine team that Chip Bomyea has assembled at Equinox is a welcomed opportunity. Seeing our family of partners in New York grow to fifteen in the last two years has been a rewarding experience and privilege for all of us at Celerity."
