BUFFALO, NY (February 1, 2008) - The William George Agency for Children Services was established by William R. George in 1895 on family property in Freeville, NY, near Ithaca. Joanne Lorenc, Program Director of the agency’s chemical dependency program has partnered with Celerity’s LLC to install Clinical Addictions Manager (CAM). Peter Labaki, President of Celerity states, "It is a privilege to be working with the William George Agency’s staff. The William George Agency for Children Services has a professional staff that provides residential treatment services to adolescent boys. Six cottages have been added that serve children with special needs and the campus school has been chartered as a Special Act school by the New York State Education Department, with a 6:1:1 student/teacher ratio. The Agency is experiencing continual growth. There are currently 113 boys in the eleven cottages of the regular institution, and 60 in Special Services. They come from virtually every community in New York State, referred by probation or social services departments, school districts and the Office of Children and Family Services. There are more than a dozen work sites in the extended school program.
