Celerity and SUNY Buffalo's addictions institute develop partnership

Buffalo, NY (1 August 05) - Celerity LLC, will collaborate with SUNY Buffalo's renowned Research Institute on Addictions (RIA) to refine its flagship product, Clinical Addictions Manager (CAM) to the needs of a wide range of treatment programs and protocols.

Celerity's founder, Peter S. Labaki, University of Buffalo ('95) and Paul Stasiewicz, Ph.D, Research Scientist and Clinic Director of RIA, reached the agreement this week. RIA has been a leader in the research of addiction trends and treatment programs since 1970. It became a research center of the University of Buffalo in 1999.

Celerity is a leading provider of clinical addictions management for chemical dependency treatment providers. Its software program, CAM, is designed to assemble and maintain patient and treatment records automatically. It frees chemical dependency providers from inefficient, time consuming maintenance and management tasks, enabling them to focus more of their human and financial resources on critical treatment services.
